What will I learn to do?
The sections links in an article page of the public site
In this lesson, you get a better understanding of the concept of section, and you will be taught how to manage the sections of your SPIP site.
The sections constitute the structure of your site.
Sections are a way to organize the information, they determinate the navigation between articles and news; they are usually named after major topics that interest your audience.
On your site, the visitors enter the site from the home page; the list of sections is displayed along one side, and they can click on the titles of the sections that interest them.
Each section has its own home page.
A subsection is a "section within a section".
You should create sections in a way that will help your readers find the information they want.
In this lesson, you will learn how to create sections and subsections, and describe them so that editors know where to put their articles and readers know where to find them.
You will also learn how to rename, move and delete a section.
