What will I learn to do?
As an administrator, you are responsible for the layout of your site.
You will decide which fields are available for your authors when they create an article; as an example, you may decide that the Top title and Postscript make your articles cluttered, and want to exclude them.
You can also decide to disable the use of news items for the whole site.
That way, you can ensure a certain level of homogeneity on your site.

Second, the more articles and news items in your online publication, the more necessary it is for you to have a global view of your site and the ability to organize and move the content inside the sections.
In this lesson, you will learn how to:
Configure articles and news items
Get an overall view of the articles of your site
See all the submitted articles and news items
Move articles and news items in the different sections
How do I enable the article fields?

You are logged in as an administrator, and you are at the Launch Pad
Click on the main icon for “Configuration”
The Configuration page loads
Click on The site’s content tab
- Scroll down to the Articles block
Use the radio buttons to choose which article parts should be available
You notice that the Title field is not in the list, so you cannot disable it. It is the only compulsory element of an article - together with the main text of course!

Can I forbid the use of news items?
News items are usually used to produce very short, simple articles to give your audience the latest news or call their attention to something they’d be interested in on another web site.
This format may not be adapted to the content of your web site.
If you want to forbid the use of news items on your site, as an Administrator you can do it in the Configuration page:
Go to the site’s content tab
Scroll down to the block "News"
Select the radio button "Do not use the news"
The authors of your site will not have the possibility to create news items.
How do I see the entire site?

To get an overview of the articles of your site:
In the toolbar, roll over the planet icon
A roll over menu shows up
Click on “The entire site”
You reach the entire site page
To see all the sections with their articles, click on "Expand all"
Only articles, and not news items, are visible on this page.
By default, you can see the articles submitted and published online.
In the "entire site" view, you can display the name of the author(s) of an article just by rolling your mouse over the title of this article.
